MDC2’s 2023 Carbon Footprint Report released

MDC2 has just published its Corporate Carbon Footprint Baseline Report for 2023. This comprehensive document represents a critical step in the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and robust governance practices.

Throughout 2023 and since its establishment in 2021, MDC2 has managed to achieve the following:

• Record reduction of embedded carbon in MDC2 Park Łódź South to 163 kg CO2e/m², which is just 51% of the Polish average of 319kg CO2e/m² and 39% of the global average of 413 kg CO2e/m².
• MDC2 Park Gliwice among the top 20 highest-rated industrial buildings in Europe: the project meets BREEAM New Construction Outstanding standards and has attracted major corporate tenants such as ROHLIG SUUS Logistics and AFL.
• Pioneering in the market: since our establishment in 2021 we have been pioneering in ensuring that all our projects achieve BREEAM New Construction standards at the Excellent level as a base case.
• Forest Forever foundation partnership: our partnership with Las Na Zawsze foundation underscores our dedication to forest conservation and reforestation efforts.
